About Us Shannon Sailing is a privately owned company on Lough Derg, Ireland’s foremost freshwater inland boating and sailing lake. Our wholly owned, secure and well sheltered harbour facilities are in the village of Dromineer near Nenagh in Co Tipperary, Ireland.We provide an 80 berth fully serviced Marina with boat and car park, swinging moorings, slipway, diesel and pump-out facilities. We hire day-sailing boats and lake fishing boats, and charter yachts at very competitive rates. Our large heated Engineering workshop, managed by a professional marine engineer (Paul Harris) provides a full range of engineering services. Paul has extensive experience in refitting and maintenance of vessels and marine systems, and leads a conscientious and well-qualified workforce. He aims to provide the premier Marine Engineering and Boat Maintenance Service on the River Shannon system. Equipment includes a hydraulic crane and Boat Lifter up to 35 tons. We are specialists in Marine Propulsion Systems and provide and install engines and drive systems. The Chandlery at Dromineer is a leading facility in the Mid-West and carries an extensive range of Boating and Sailing supplies from leading Manufacturers. Our stocks even include needles and anchors! The company services reflect our extensive technical, commercial and leisure experience in the boating industry, both power and sail. Our Managing Director and Sales Manager is Pat McCool, and with Paul Harris, Engineering Manager and Sheila Moran our Management Accountant, together with our team of skilled craftspeople, sailing instructors and boat repair crew, we aim to provide efficient and cost effective solutions to all our customers.Shannon Sailing Marina Complex is within its own secure area with code-key gated access, is fully serviced and is easily accessible from all entry ports into Ireland and from the N7 main Dublin-Limerick Rd (7 miles).
