Your Gateway to Lough Derg
Established in 1985, Shannon Sailing Marina is a privately owned company on Lough Derg, Ireland’s largest freshwater lake. Our wholly owned, secure and well sheltered harbour facilities are in the village of Dromineer, Co. Tipperary. We provide an 80+ berth fully serviced Marina with additional swining moorings, on- site workshop, chandlery, private slipway, diesel and pump-out facilities. Our large on- site workshop provides a full range of boat engineering services . We have extensive experience in the refitting and maintenance of boats of all shapes and sizes.

Private Marina
With just 80 boats in our private marina, we provide a personal, safehaven in all weathers. While some people will just like to 'park' their boat with us and know that it's safe, how often do you arrive down to a job to be done or put off coming to Lough Derg because you know the boat needs some TLC. Introducing back in 2023: Take advantage of our full 'Guardianship Model.' We can ensure your boat is always ready to go, you don't need to worry about lockdowns, fuel bug or even stacking the fridge- let us do it all for you!
We can have your engine serviced with genuine parts, fridge stocked with exactly what you want, battery charged and fuelled ready to go. We will also have your boat lifted, antifouled, bellows and drive serviced when required to keep service protocols up to date
Marina Services & Facilities
Genuine Engine Work
We carry out geuine work on all marine engines. A standard annual service includes Genuine Fuel, Oil and Primary Filters, Genuine oil & impeller- leaving your engine genuine. Petrol engine services also include spark plugs. Spurious parts effect the performance, genuine parts give you peace of mind and when selling a boat, a full service history in line with manufacturers protocol always makes the sale easier.

Workshop - Engine servicing and repairs - both inboard & outboard. Fitout, Mechinical overhaul, Hull washdown & cleaning, Painting and Antifouling
Boat Wash
Book a Wash today: We can lift & wash your boat or wash before you launch. We use: Boat Buddy Marine Surface Wash, Boat Buddy Gelcoat Stain Remover, Boat Buddy Marine Surface Protector, etc
